Vol. 01 — AI Citation IndexAugust 2026
Citation/Research

Who does AI cite when people ask? We measure it — industry by industry.

AI visibility, market by market

National rankings tell you who runs the table. Metro editions tell you who runs your street. Every market gets its own locally-sourced prompt corpus — neighborhood names, local intent, local language — run through the same protocol as the national index.

New markets are added by ICP density and data sufficiency — a metro goes live only when its corpus and citation volume clear our publication thresholds.

02

Why metro data is different

Locally-sourced corpora

Each metro corpus is built from that market's real query demand — neighborhood names, relocation patterns, local regulation — never a national prompt with a city name stapled on.

Density thresholds

We publish a market only when citation volume supports statistically meaningful rankings. Thin markets are aggregated regionally, never padded into pages.

Same protocol

Five runs per prompt per platform, deterministic extraction, monthly re-runs on a frozen corpus. Metro figures are directly comparable to the national baseline.
